Under the contract, collection trucks travel public roads only and will not travel private roads. If you live on a private road, place your cart at the point where your private road meets the county-maintained road, within 3 feet of the edge of the traveled roadway. If that placement is not workable for your location, contact Pike County Solid Waste at (601) 783-4192. The county is required under the contract to work with Waste Management to resolve cart placement problems.
